About Lawyer:
Lado Javakhishvili is an experienced lawyer and legal policy expert. For more than 10 years, he has worked in public service, international consultancy, and private legal practice. He holds an LL.M. from the State University of New York, a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law from Tbilisi State University, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Ilia State University. From 2013 to 2021, Lado worked at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, where he held leadership positions, including Director of the Crime Prevention Center and Deputy Director of the National Agency for Probation and Non-Custodial Sentence execution. Since 2021, he has been working with international and local organizations as a legal expert, consultant, and lawyer. Since 2022 he practices law and provides legal services to private individuals and businesses. His main areas of practice include: Business and Commercial Law; Family Law; Administrative and Public Law; Labour Law; Criminal Law; Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Law; Juvenile Justice and Child Rights; Probation and Penitentiary Law, etc. Lado speaks Georgian, English, and Russian languages.
